  1. Psalm 139: “Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!”

Psalm 139 is a prayer for self-examination and surrender to God’s transformative power. It acknowledges the complexity of human emotions and invites God to search our hearts, revealing any impurity or sin within us. As we open ourselves to God’s scrutiny, may He cleanse us from all unrighteousness and lead us in the path of righteousness. Read Psalm 139.

  1. Psalm 32: “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.”

Psalm 32 celebrates the blessing of forgiveness and cleansing that comes from confessing our sins to God. It acknowledges the burden of guilt and shame that sin brings and rejoices in the freedom and restoration found in God’s forgiveness. As we confess our sins and receive God’s cleansing, may we experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing we are forgiven. Read Psalm 32.
